Update the record that controls the message you need
UKC, a domain registry and Plesk can hold different contact records. Changing one does not necessarily update the others.
UKC Client Area
Change your billing and account details
- Sign in and open My Details.
- Update the name, company, email, telephone number or postal address.
- Review the country carefully because it can affect tax treatment.
- Save the changes and confirm the new details are displayed.
Invoice and domain messages are essential account communications. Keep an email address that you actively monitor.
Domain ownership
Update a domain's registry contacts separately
Open My Domains, choose Domain Tools, then open Contact Information. Review the registrant and other contact roles before saving.
A material ownership or email change can trigger registry verification or a temporary transfer lock. Use accurate details that the registrant can access.
Web hosting
Change the Plesk profile when needed
- Open My Services, select the hosting service and log in to Plesk.
- Select your name at the top of Plesk and choose Edit Profile, or open My Profile.
- Open Contact Details, make the change and select OK.
This profile is used within the hosting panel. It does not replace the Client Area billing record or a domain's registry contacts.
Current Plesk profile guideChanging an email address can affect account recovery
Before replacing an address, make sure the new mailbox works and is controlled by the authorised account holder. Do not use an address belonging only to a departing employee or third-party developer.
