What uses storage
Storage can include website files, databases, mailboxes, logs, caches, staging copies and backups. A compact brochure site may be small, while galleries, shops and frequently backed-up WordPress sites can grow much faster.
Plan sensibly
Add the website files and database, then allow room for email and normal growth. Compress photographs, avoid uploading raw video, and keep personal archives and workstation backups outside web hosting.
Monitor
Open the hosting subscription in Plesk and review disk-usage statistics. If use rises unexpectedly, check old backups, cache directories, logs, mailboxes and duplicated staging sites before upgrading.
