Auto Invoice is not automatic payment
Auto Invoice prepares and sends a renewal invoice. You must still review and pay it. UKC never automatically charges card details held on the account.
Renew online
Use the domain renewal page and finish checkout
- Sign in to Client Area and open Renew Domains.
- Choose the time window to find domains due soon.
- Select an available renewal period. Longer periods can secure today's displayed price for the selected term where the registry permits it.
- Choose Add to Cart, review the domain, period and total, then complete checkout.
- Return to My Domains and confirm the new expiry date after processing.

Pay the correct invoice and remove anything you do not want
An unpaid invoice does not itself renew a domain. Open it, check the domain and term, reduce the invoice before payment if it contains an unwanted eligible item, then complete payment. Do not pay a renewal invoice for a domain already transferred away.

Website and email may stop before the domain is lost permanently
Registry rules and recovery periods vary by extension. An expired domain can stop resolving, interrupt email and display a registry holding page. Renewal may remain possible for a limited period, sometimes with an additional registry recovery fee. Do not rely on a grace period: renew before the displayed expiry date.
Domain not listed
Check its status, registrar and eligibility
- The domain may not yet be within its permitted renewal window.
- It may have transferred to another registrar, where renewal must now be completed.
- It may be beyond the normal recovery period or awaiting a registry action.
- A cancelled domain may be intentionally hidden from current domain lists.
Confirm more than the payment receipt
A successful renewal is shown by the updated domain expiry date. DNS, website and email can take time to recover if the domain had already expired.
Renewal unavailable or date unchanged?
Send the domain, current status and expiry date, invoice and transaction numbers, payment time and the message shown by the renewal page. Do not send card details.
