Hosting scope
A UKC hosting subscription may technically support several domains, but every website on the account must belong to the same person or organisation and remain within the plan's fair-use scope.
Multiple domainsPossible where the plan supports them.
One ownerSites belong to one entity.
No client resaleUse separate plans for third parties.
Suitable use
Examples include a company website, campaign domain and related project owned by the same business. Each domain can have its own document root when the subscription and Plesk configuration permit it.
Separate plans
Agency, reseller or client websites need appropriate separate subscriptions. This keeps ownership, security, backups and resource use isolated and prevents one customer affecting another.
Before adding a site
Check the hosting service in the Client Area and Plesk for domain limits, storage, databases and PHP resources. If the new site has heavy traffic, large downloads or specialist requirements, ask the Helpdesk which plan fits.
