Domain orders
A successful domain registration is normally submitted to the registry immediately and cannot simply be returned or undone. Check the spelling, extension, holder details and total carefully before payment.

Why refunds differ
Once registered, the registry has created the right to use that exact name for the ordered period and UKC cannot normally cancel it to recover the wholesale fee.
Before ordering
Look for missing letters and unintended hyphens, and confirm whether you selected .uk, .co.uk or another extension. The confirmation page is the final opportunity to correct the order.
If something failed
A genuine failed registration, duplicate charge or processing error should be investigated. This is different from changing your mind after the requested name was successfully registered. Current terms and statutory rights still apply.
