When signed in

Use Security Settings to disable the current method

Try a backup code before requesting a reset

If the selected factor is unavailable, use a saved backup code. UKC support may need to verify account ownership before removing protection and will never ask for your password or live 2FA code.

Restore protection

Confirm the new method works by signing out and back in. Store the new backup code separately from the account password.
