.ltd.uk is reserved for qualifying private limited companies on the Companies House register. The domain label must be derived from the company's official registered name.

Eligible applicant
The registrant must be an incorporated company listed at Companies House and entitled to use Limited, Ltd, cyfyngedig or cyf in its corporate name. Partnerships and unincorporated businesses are not eligible.
Domain label
Nominet applies a defined conversion algorithm rather than allowing any available label. The application needs the full registered company name and company number, and proof of incorporation may be requested.
Keep it valid
If the company changes name, is dissolved or leaves the active register, Nominet may amend, suspend, transfer or cancel the domain. Contact UKC before changing the holder or after a Companies House change.
