Provide an eligible Japanese contact address

The registrant information must satisfy the current JPRS and registrar requirements. Do not use a false address or unrelated third party merely to pass the registration form.

Choose the namespace

Organisational .JP names have stricter rules

Extensions such as .co.jp, .or.jp and .ne.jp identify particular types of organisation or service and may limit the number held. Confirm eligibility before ordering.

Before payment

Ask UKC to confirm the required evidence

Send the intended namespace, holder type and Japanese presence details without sensitive documents unless requested through an approved route. Registration is not final until accepted by the registrar and registry.
