.US domains
Every .us registrant must have a qualifying connection to the United States and provide public, accurate registration data. Private or proxy registration is prohibited.
US Nexus requiredChoose a valid category.
Real holder dataRemain accurate and reachable.
No proxy privacyThe actual registrant is recorded.
Three Nexus routes
Category 1 covers a US citizen, permanent resident or person primarily domiciled in the US or its territories. Category 2 covers qualifying US entities. Category 3 covers a foreign organisation with a bona fide US presence and regular lawful activity.
Registration data
The .us registry requires the actual registrant's reliable contact details and prohibits private or proxy registrations. A mailing address by itself does not create a qualifying Nexus.
Compliance checks
The registry may request evidence or review the selected Nexus category. Inaccurate data, an invalid category or failure to respond can cause suspension or cancellation, so contact UKC promptly if a verification message arrives.
