Is Sitejet Builder included with UKC hosting?

Yes. Sitejet Builder is available at no additional cost with UKC shared web-hosting plans and opens from the Plesk control panel.

Included with UKC shared hosting

You do not need to buy a separate Sitejet licence. An active UKC shared-hosting subscription provides access to the builder for websites within that subscription.

Hosting and domain-only services are different

UKC shared web hosting
Sitejet Builder is included and accessed through Plesk.
Domain registration only
Use the free UKC Website Builder for a parked domain, or add a hosting plan to use Sitejet.
Externally hosted website
The external host controls its website tools. A UKC hosting subscription is needed to publish with Sitejet on UKC.
Existing WordPress or custom site
Sitejet is an alternative builder, not an editor for the existing application.

Open Sitejet from Plesk

  1. Sign in to the UKC Client Area.
  2. Open Services > My Services and select the active hosting plan.
  3. Choose Log in to Plesk and wait for the secure sign-in to complete.
  4. Open Websites & Domains and select the intended domain.
  5. Choose Sitejet Builder or Create Website, select a template and begin editing.

Design and publish without writing code

  • Start from a responsive designer template.
  • Edit pages visually with drag-and-drop content.
  • Adjust site identity, navigation, text, images and search information.
  • Preview changes before publishing.
  • Return to the builder later for ongoing updates.

Back up an existing website before publishing

Publishing Sitejet replaces files in the domain’s document root. If the domain already has WordPress, another application or custom files, create and verify a backup first. Sitejet does not import and preserve an existing site automatically.

Confirm the service and domain

  1. Check that you opened an active UKC shared-hosting service, not a domain-only service.
  2. Confirm the intended domain is present in that Plesk subscription.
  3. Look on the domain’s Get Started area as well as Websites & Domains.
  4. If Sitejet is still absent, contact UKC so we can check the subscription permission.

Still cannot find Sitejet?

Send the hosting service, domain, assigned UKC server and a screenshot of Websites & Domains. Tell us whether the domain already has a live website. Never send a Plesk password.
