How to Change DNS Records

Every domain name we provide is fully equipped with our comprehensive DNS Manager.

To access the DNS manager, your domain needs to be parked. That is, the name servers need to be set to:

ns.microlite1.com
ns2.microlite1.com

Once your domain is parked, the Parking Tools section of your domain features will be activated. By default, all newly registered domain names are parked unless they are hosted or you provided alternative name servers at time of registration.

To find your way to the DNS Manager, please do the following:

1) Login to the Client Portal
2) Select Domains > My Domains
3) Find the domain in the list and click Manage Domain
4) Now go to Parking Tools > DNS Manager

If your domain name is hosted on one of our Plesk Obsidian servers, you will need to login to Plesk to manage your DNS zone, to do so, please follow the steps below:

1) Login to your Client Portal
2) Go to Services -> My Services
3) Select the hosting service that you wish to login to
4) Select Manage Domains to login to Plesk
5) Once logged into Plesk, go to Websites and Domains
6) Go to DNS settings for the domain name that you wish to add a DNS record for

If you encounter any problems with managing your DNS zone, please submit a ticket to the HelpDesk confirming the DNS changes that you wish to make and one of our team can apply the DNS changes for you.
