Parked-domain email

Forward domain email to an existing inbox

Email Forwarding creates a memorable address at your domain and delivers incoming messages to an inbox you already use. It is an alias, not a separate mailbox.

Create an aliasName the public address.

Choose a destinationUse a working inbox.

UKC mail route requiredMX must reach the service.

Create a route

Open Email Forwarding and choose the address

  1. Open My Domains and select Domain Tools beside the domain.
  2. Choose Email Forwarding.
  3. Select Add alias.
  4. Enter the name before the @, such as hello, and the complete destination inbox address.
  5. Save once, then send a test from an unrelated email account.

Use named aliases instead of a catch-all to reduce unwanted mail.

How it behaves

Forwarding receives mail but does not create an inbox

Messages arrive in the destination mailbox. Replies normally use that mailbox's address unless its provider has separately configured verified send-as support for your domain.

Activation

The domain's MX records must use the UKC forwarding route

If mail is hosted elsewhere, that provider receives the messages instead. Review DNS and use Domain Diagnostics when an alias is saved but mail does not arrive.
