Parked domains

Use the DNS Manager with a UKC parked domain

Every UKC parked domain includes managed DNS for website, email and verification records. The modern DNS Manager provides editing, provider presets, diagnostics and zone recovery in one place.

IncludedNo separate DNS add-on.

Record controlA, CNAME, MX and TXT.

RecoveryRestore UKC parking defaults.

When it works

The domain must use UKC parking nameservers

DNS Manager controls the zone served by ns.ukc.uk and ns2.ukc.uk, or the equivalent UKC parking nameservers shown in the Client Area. If nameservers point elsewhere, edit DNS at that provider.

Find DNS Manager

Open the parked domain from My Domains

  1. Sign in to the Client Area and open My Domains.
  2. Select Domain Tools beside the domain you want to manage.
  3. Choose DNS Manager from the domain menu.
  4. Search or filter the zone, then choose Edit beside an existing record or Add record for a new one.

Preview provider presets before applying them and review every proposed addition, update or deletion.

Checks and recovery

Use diagnostics before resetting the whole zone

Domain Diagnostics compares nameservers, website and mail routing. Restore UKC defaults replaces custom website and mail settings with the standard parking zone, so use it only when you intend to discard the current configuration.

A zone reset is a real service change.

Copy any records you may need before restoring defaults.
