  2. Choose Domain Tools. Select the domain you want to change.
  3. Open DNS Manager. Confirm the page says UKC manages the zone.

Make the change

Add, edit or delete the required record

Use Edit beside an existing record, Add record for a new one, or the bin icon to remove one. Enter only the values supplied by the destination service. For the root domain, use @ where the form requests a host.

After saving

Allow cached answers to expire

The authoritative zone updates after a successful save, but internet resolvers can continue returning the earlier value until its TTL expires. Use Domain Diagnostics to inspect the public result. If the domain uses external nameservers, change the records at that DNS provider instead.

DNS changes can interrupt service.

Record the existing value before changing website or mail records, and never delete an MX or TXT record unless you understand its purpose.
