Email - Configuring Outlook

How to setup a POP / IMAP account in Outlook:

1. Open Microsoft Outlook™
2. Choose Tools from the menu at the top of the screen, then select Email Accounts.
3. Select to Add a new Email Account.
4. Enter the following information - please replace yourdomainname.com with your domain name:

Server information:

Account Type: POP3 / IMAP
Incoming Mail server: mail.yourdomainname.com
Incoming port: POP3 110 / IMAP 143
Outgoing Mail server: mail.yourdomainname.com
Outgoing port: 587

Logon information: 
User name: email address
Password: webmail password

Under More settings - > Outgoing server select 'My Outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication'
Select the option 'Use same settings as my incoming mail server'

If your ISP is Sky or you are receiving a 553 error please select the option 'Log on using' then enter your email address and password

Under More settings -> Advanced - set the Outgoing server (SMTP) port to 587
